• Alain Mikli is quoted as saying he invented
  
  the term eyewear designer - our very own
  
  Oliver Goldsmith may have something to say
  
  about that - but it is true that since Miklis
  
  arrival in 1978, eyewear design has been
  
  taken to a new level. And perhaps Cari Zalloni
  
  might add something here too. But this 1980's
  
  classic is way out there and when retired,
  
  should be placed in a museum. Would work
  
  wonderfully with either clear prescription lenses
  
  or as sunglasses. FYI, Mikli is still going,
  
  with boutiques in most major cities of the
  
  world.
