• This shape was particular for men around
  
  the late 1940's. The distinguishing charac-
  
  teristics are the thin frame and arms with
  
  the medium set temples in a dark tortoise
  
  plastic finish - probaby made in America.
  
  This pair is particularly nice as it has
  
  retained the old fashioned block hinge which
  
  was very good and it has a mitred joint and
  
  full length wire cores in the arms. Expect
  
  Cary Grant to have worn these, c.1948.
