• In the late 1950's two old 19th century American
  
  companies merged to create Shuron Continental
  
  and by 1963 had registered the trademark S/C -
  
  so these sleek yet angular black beauties date from
  
  after this time. We believe it is from the late Sixties
  
  and just to show you what they were doing differently
  
  in the early 60's here is a catalogue we have in our
  
  archive. Sunstyles as they called their sunglasses
  
  range must have looked far and wide for inspiration
  
  and execution as this pair is marked France. The
  
  lenses are excellent: we've tested them and they
  
  give 98% uv protection at 400nm.
