• Winsum (abbreviated from Winter/Summer)
  
  were Liberty Optical's sunglasses range,
  
  introduced in 1964, and promoted to be,
  
  "year round sunglass fashions...". Vergopol
  
  looks to be 70's but could be earlier, but it
  
  is the filled bridge and the slightly paler
  
  lenses - 75% LTF - that make us think it has
  
  crept into the latter decade. FYI - Liberty are
  
  still going, still based in Newark NJ, but
  
  specialise in protective eyewear.
