In case you were born after say, the early
80's and don't follow tennis, Arthur Ashe
was one of the greats, winning three Grand
Slam singles titles, including Wimbledon in
1975. He was one of the founders of the ATP
and gained huge support around the world when
he boycotted the South African tour in 1969
after they refused him a visa for being black.
Enough history, now love the shades. Look
to be late 70's (after he had retired from playing)
and probably unisex. The logo AA is not just his
initials but the line he designed for American
Optical called, Advantage Ashe - also the title
of his 1967 autobiography.
