• We know the name of this frame even though
  
  by the mid-1980's Ray-Ban decided to mostly
  
  opt for numbers only on their frames - this is
  
  because it appears in our 1988 catalogue.
  
  Shelby is part of the Traditionals range that
  
  started with men's pairs in 1985 and were so
  
  successful that women's pairs followed. The
  
  listed colour is Electric Blue/Ebony and it is a
  
  layer of vivid striped blue over the shaped brow
  
  and the rest of the frame is black. This is a large
  
  pair, classic 80's styling that retailed at USD$100.00
  
  twenty years ago - money was everywhere, hence
  
  films like Wall Street were made.
