• This pair looks to be late 1940's or 1950's
  
  and is probably English, although the joint is
  
  one that we often find on French frames.
  
  It is an interesting design with the arms
  
  attaching on the top of the rims, inset from
  
  the sides. The metal has kept its gleam no
  
  doubt to the high gold content and the plastic
  
  is fine, just a little discolouration at the top of
  
  the corrugated temple tips.
