ad from 1949 - the main illustration
shows a very similar pair and it is probably
no coincidence that AO owned Polaroid at
the time. This pair is very good quality with
mitred joints and full length wire core temples.
The lenses are unusual in that they are glass
Polaroid lenses, no longer made. We've tested
them and they not only block out 98% of uv
light, but they kill the glare - essential for
beach bunnies today too.
