According to this
ad we have from 1964,
Renauld of France was famous for his
outrageous sunglasses designs and in that
year he invaded America with his new
range of Spectaculars. This is a later pair in
the material of that moment - anodised
aluminium - which allowed frames to go
big but stay light and also in spacy metallic
tones - check some of these out in a
selection of
Renaulds we have had in the
past. We liked this one so much though
that we decided to have new Polaroid
brand lenses fitted to match the original
colour.
