• A superb example of early 1960's sunglasses
  
  design. The shape is a wrapped wide sided
  
  cateye - very popular around 1962-3 for both
  
  men and women - but it is the plastic that grabs
  
  your attention. The colour is a gold layer on
  
  black and is smooth at the bridge but is feathered
  
  around the eyepieces leading to the even more
  
  fabulously decorative sides. Here the silver raised
  
  abstract squiggles are cut back to the black
  
  layer beneath and then studded with coloured
  
  rhinestones. Glorious, gorgeous, glamourous.
