• We know this frame was called Bahama
  
  as the same model (in a different colourway)
  
  appears in one of our May catalogues from
  
  1962. They called it a "bold classic" then,
  
  suggesting that the Bahama had been brought
  
  out a couple of seasons previously, so this
  
  could be late 50's. The shape is wild, with
  
  exaggerated brows and deep bridge and the
  
  quality - as with all May sunglasses - is
  
  superb, this pair in 3 layers to make the
  
  dazzling effect.
