• We can date this pair to the early Sixties
  
  as it appears in one of our AO catalogues
  
  dated 1961 (bottom left). AO's True Color grey
  
  lenses blocked all UV and IR rays and this
  
  frame was called the C50: a wide, narrow,
  
  classic shape that AO described as,
  
  "....subtle upsweep with two-tone treatment...".
  
  Pearlised jade is the best way we could find
  
  to describe this beautiful sea-green layer
  
  over a similarly pearlised yellow layer.
  
  Stunning pair from one of the best US
  
  makers from the mid-20th century.
