• We know this frame was called Bahama
  
  as it appears in a catalogue we have from
  
  1962. They called it a "bold classic" then,
  
  suggesting that the Bahama had been brought
  
  out a couple of seasons previously, so this
  
  could be late 50's. The shape is wild, with
  
  exaggerated brows and deep bridge and the
  
  quality - as with all May sunglasses - is
  
  superb - this pair in three layers, Toffee
  
  on white on clear. The white and brown
  
  'diamonds' are added as raised trim. We
  
  have another Bahama on the site - check
  
  it out. NB: frame marked down due to the
  
  plastic at the left side starting to show
  
  slight signs of age (see bottom photo).
