• Perhaps best known for inventing the
  
  mini skirt a few years earlier, Mary Quant
  
  has been designing for over 50 years.
  
  This pair - bearing her now famous daisy
  
  logo at the centre of the bridge - looks
  
  to be early 70's (around the time MQ
  
  had moved on to inventing hot-pants).
  
  Polaroid made most of her eyewear from
  
  this period - here the frame has been
  
  given a colour coat, fading from the
  
  sides to the centre and down the arms.
  
  NB: frame marked down slightly due to
  
  a couple of tiny spots where the colour
  
  is missing.
