Renato Balestra is a very successful Italian
designer of couture since the 1950s and has
since added ready-to-wear and accessories -
including sunglasses - and perfume to the brand.
Most of the sunglasses of his we find are from
the 1980s and are hence large and glamourous.
What else would you expect from a pair entitled
Via Veneto, the area of Rome made famous by
Fellini in La Dolce Vita - whilst also making wearing
sunglasses at night very cool too. And look what we
found when searching this district on the web: a shot
of RB himself during what looks to be a shoot in
Via Veneto. This pair lives up to glamour with the
top and sides built up in layers of peach and tan,
matching the brown tones in the lenses.
