  Charles Jourdan have ceased to trade -
  
  after 86 years of trading. Charles Jourdan
  
  was a shoe designer (he died before this
  
  pair was made) but the House was known
  
  for some great sunglasses in the 1970's
  
  and 80's. This pair is well designed, with
  
  the bridge - recessed white panel that
  
  wraps around to the arms - forming an
  
  extra layer over the lenses. The CJ logos
  
  - in a raised gold metal - sit in the arm
  
  panels.
