The date of this pair was confirmed for us
by the patent number: a quick search reveals
that in 1938 an American sunglasses designer,
Rose Ehrlich, patented this design and named
it Sunshield.
Check it out. Her drawings differ
slightly, our pair no doubt being another model
within the same range using the same basic
design. Unusual use of different colours makes
for a wild pre-war party. Rose rocks!
