Looks to be mid-1980's and is typical of the retro style they always liked to do, this pair a take on an American 40's frame, complete with an old fashioned hinge that is pinned with plaques both front and sides. The name Perimetric refers to this old shape of frame: this style has a eye shape which was oval at the top and round underneath. Anglo-American designs are featured in the collector's book Eyeglass Retrospective (Schiffer) and are on display in the BOA Museum, London. — klasik |
