info
Ray-Ban's Caballero - despite what you read elsewhere - actually wasn't
produced until 1990 and is quite rare as it was only made for two seasons.
And what makes it even rarer is that it now now highly sought after as it
was/is worn by ZZ Top frontman,
Billy Gibbons. And
Rihanna. So yes, Ray-Ban
marketed them as unisex. They are large - 145mm across the top - so still
a contemporary look. This pair in the blonde tortoise with the matching
B15 mineral glass lenses. The temples are very wide, to correspond with
the wide lugs: it looks as though this wide temple was the same used for
for the popular Nomad which came out a few of years later, with the same
raised metal Ray-Ban script logo. Better snap this pair up before some
other celebrity wants it...
